North Lyngen, Norway
The Lyngen Alps are a mountain range in northeastern Troms county in Norway, east of the city of Tromsø. You will see them across the Lyngenfjord from our glass igloos at Spåkenes.
The Lyngen peninsula has 124 peaks over 1000 meters and stretches 90km from the Lyngstua in the north to Balsfjordeidet in the south. The tallest peaks at around 1800 meters are found on the south end of the peninsula while you will find the most spectacular mountains in the northern part.
According to archeological findings, people have lived here for 10.000 years — the first settlers in Lyngen where nomadic hunters/gatherers and fishers.

Lyngen North is located at the tip of the Spåkenes Peninsula in the outer region of the Lyngenfjord. From here you have views directly towards the mountainrange Lyngenalps. We offer accommodation in our 3 holidayhouses and 2 glass igloos. At Lyngen North the two Lyngenfjord Houses are next to each other with about 20m between them. Commonly used by groups of up to 8 people, but also great for smaller groups. Below the Lyngenfjord Houses is a jacuzzi, a grill house and the boat marina. The front side of the houses is facing the Lyngenfjord which is right outside the door. Each house is 80 square meters. Each house has 2 bedrooms and each bedroom 2 singlebeds. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a large livingroom and there is also an electrical sauna. LyngenAlps panorama house: The Lyngen Alps Panorama House is located around 200m away from the sea and our other houses.
