Stockholm City Hall
The Stockholm City Hall is one of Sweden’s most famous buildings, and one of the capital's most visited tourist attractions. It is famous for its grand ceremonial halls and unique pieces of art and is the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet held on 10th of December each year. It also houses offices for 200 people including the Municipal Council.

A statue of Saint Clare found in the Civic Courtyard of the City Hall in Stockholm. In the foreground is the oak tree, known as the civic tree, that was planted on the day the city hall opened in 1923. Saint Clare represents the Queen of lake Mälaren. She is holding a crown, the symbol of Stockholm. It is said that the crown was financed by a 10-year-old girl who contributed 100 Kronor (crowns) from her savings. Stockholm, Sweden. Sept. 30, 2019
